About
A California native, Sabrina, studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she received a BA in studio art. After graduating she worked at The ARTS at Marks Garage, a non-profit community arts incubator, right in the heart of Downtown-Chinatown in Honolulu. Sabrina was involved with the creative and cultural revitalizations of the area, street festivals, First Friday Art Walks, and other community celebrations.
Sabrina’s connection with the arts began at a very young age, thanks to her father. Trips to major art galleries and museums, symphonic concerts, and outdoor gardens shaped the young artist’s perspective that art comes in all forms and can be found all around us.
Now back in the Bay Area, Sabrina works out of her art studio in San Jose, where she explores abstract painting through bright colors and movement. She has been enjoying all of the messy, frustrating, joyous, and exhilarating moments that come with creating.
